2009 has been an exciting year featuring collaborations & productions featuring Stir Fry Willie from the US of A, Norman representing Reimkult from Germany, Timur Zai from Luton,UK, orig. Pakistan and MC Twig from London, orig. South Afrika.

2010 will feature more tracks from the above and the introduction of  new MCs such as Josiah from Luton, UK orig. Birmingham.

We are still looking for scratch artists and will be holding ing auditions in the New Year. First up we will have DJ D. from the UK in January. You will find more info soon on www.deeptuna.com. Anyone interested please contact us via the contact us form.

We have also done some changes to our myspace layout. I mean it has been a while and we will update the site   more regularly from now on. 2010 has big things in store for us. Including our long awaited opening of the official Deep Tuna Shop, which you will find here :

I decided to write this article after i received a link from a friend on Friday and spend half an evening in Andre Michelle’s laboratory playing around with his new amazing ToneMatrix flash application. He describes it as a simple sinewave synthesizer triggered by an ordinary 16step sequencer. Each triggered step causes a force on the underlying wave-map… .

The ToneMatrix is just one of the flash audio applications he has produced and i very much recommend you check them out. Click here for the online ToneMatrix and here for the blog. Make sure you have some free time available, because this app is seriously addictive. I wouldn’t be surprised if this app will eventually be available for the iphone and i reckon it would be very successful.

The ToneMatrix has just been integrated into his main project, the “Hobnox Audio Tool”. The title says: “Produce your own electronic music with the Hobnox Audiotool. All in your browser.” That does sound like a lot of fun doesn’t it? Just click here to get creative!

Its a brilliant tool to create your own tunes online and in an easy and fun way. If you register it will even allow you to save your creations for future generations.
